Maryna Landman

Maryna Landman is co-owner and Director of Strategy at Alpha Plumbing. She is the architect of Alpha's long-term strategy and of its Six Pillars of Uninterrupted Living, and she leads the systems behind every call-out: how jobs are coordinated, documented, and held to standard.

Her work bridges strategy, law and operations. She holds a BCom, an LLB (cum laude), and an MBA (cum laude) and brings more than 22 years in the plumbing industry. Her MBA research examined the sustainability of professional plumbing services in a digitalised Gauteng. For her, sustainability is economic, environmental and social: it means using technology to protect customers and South Africa's scarce water, and designing service from the customer's side, so that plumbing interrupts as little of their life as possible..

She writes for Plumbing Africa on compliance, proof of workmanship, and the real cost of cutting corners. As co-owner of a 50% women-led company, she is a visible voice for women in a trade still largely run by men.
